To thank you for your continued support, advocacy, and your highest endorsement — by recommending us to others — we’ve created the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Sweepstakes to reward one lucky winner each year with a prize valued at $2,500! You can use the prize voucher for a much-needed vacation, a home improvement project, or simply set aside some cash for a rainy day — it’s anything you can dream of — and it’s our way of saying “thank you” for your advocacy and all your support!

 

In a nutshell, here’s how it works: From January1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, every time the Nextdoor Realty Team closes with a buyer or seller that you have referred to us, you will be entered into our sweepstakes drawing. The more people you refer to us who close on buying or selling a property with the Nextdoor Realty Team during the contest period, the more entries you get into the Sweepstakes! You’ll get one (1) entry for each referral who closes on a property within the contest entry period (January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020).

 

Refer your friends, your family, or anybody you know who is looking to buy or sell a home, and we promise we’ll take the very best care of them. If they call us directly and tell us they were referred by you, we’ll enter you in the contest that way, too! It’s a win-win-win for everybody!

Official Sweepstakes Rules

1.        Contest Sponsors

The Nextdoor Realty Team’s “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Sweepstakes is sponsored by the Nextdoor Realty Team (Josh Brett, Susan Scheele and Mike Wood) who are solely responsible for all aspects of the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” referral Sweepstakes.

2.        Contest Description

The Contest is a random drawing among all eligible entries during the contest period. The sweepstakes prize is a voucher valued at $2,500 which can be applied to any item the winner/recipient chooses whether that’s a vacation, a home improvement project, or another use at winner’s sole discretion.

3.        Contest Period

The contest period is from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. Qualifying entries received by the Nextdoor Realty Team through phone call, email, or Nextdoor Realty Team’s website during this entry period will be entered into the random drawing. The sweepstakes is limited to one (1) entry per referral. In the event of duplicate referrals, Nextdoor Realty Team may grant each referrer and entry but reserves the right to honor the first entry/referral at its sole discretion. Drawing will be held on, or shortly after the contest end date and a winner will be notified within three weeks of the contest closing.

4.        Eligibility

The contest is open to all persons 18 years of age or older whose referral of a client or customer to Nextdoor Realty Team results in a closed purchase or sale of real estate during the contest period. Each referral qualifies for one entry. For example, if you make ten (10) qualified referrals, you get ten (10) entries in the sweepstakes. Referrals made by real estate professionals or mortgage lenders acting in their professional capacity are not eligible. Family and employees of the contest sponsors, such employees’ immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are living are excluded from this contest. The term “immediate family members” includes partners/significant others/spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Sponsors’ decisions about eligibility and the winner will be final. You should contact each person or party that you have referred for the Contest to inform him/her/them that someone from the Nextdoor Realty Team will be reaching out to inquire about plans to buy or sell real estate.

5.        How to Enter

There are three ways to enter the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Sweepstakes: 1.) Call the Nextdoor Realty Team at 617-829-3907; 2.) Email nextdoor@unlimitedsir.com and tell us whom you are referring with their full contact information; 3.) Or, enter online through the Sweepstakes link at nextdoorrealtyteam.com. You must include your full name, address, phone number and email address and the same information for the person you are referring for an entry/referral to qualify for the contest. If this person buys or sells a property with Nextdoor Realty Team acting as their agent, and the property closes by the end of the contest period, your name will be entered in the drawing. One entry will be made for every qualifying referral during the contest period. You should verify all entries with the Nextdoor Realty Team via phone call, text message, or email with confirmed receipt of entry in order for your referrals to be entered into the drawing. Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or unreadable entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or sponsors.

6.        Drawing

The winner will be selected at random from all qualifying entries selected by Nextdoor Realty Team. All decisions of the random drawing are final and binding.

7.        General

This contest is subject to all federal, state and municipal laws. Federal, state and local tax liability and any other expenses are the sole responsibility of prizewinners. Void where restricted and prohibited. No purchase necessary in order to participate.

8.        Release and Acknowledgement

In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Nextdoor Realty Team, Josh Brett, Susan Scheele, Mike Wood, Unlimited Sotheby’s International Realty, and Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s). By participating in this Contest, each entrant affirms that s/he is at least 18 years of age, accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Contest. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release sponsors, its employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Prize winner, by acceptance, also agrees that Nextdoor Realty Team can use winner’s name, home town, likeness, statements and other personally identifiable information for marketing and advertising purposes of Nextdoor Realty Team, and consumer promotions in any media throughout the universe in perpetuity without additional compensation, incentive, consideration, consent or review.
